Role:
As a Hospitality FF&E Designer, individuals play a pivotal role in synchronising FF&E elements with architectural aspects of projects. Responsibilities include collaborating closely with the FF&E and ID teams to ensure seamless integration of FF&E information into architectural documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with FF&E and ID teams to develop schematic FF&E designs aligned with client briefs, programmes, and budgets.
- Assist in creating mood boards for presentations, maintaining quality and consistency while meeting company and client standards.
- Support in preparing presentations, ensuring compatibility with company and client expectations.
- Translate initial design concepts into detailed development plans, keeping project timelines in mind.
- Generate FF&E specification documentation in accordance with team requirements and company standards, ensuring clarity for accurate supplier quotations.
- Review samples and strike-offs with Senior FF&E Design team to ensure compliance with specifications and design objectives.
- Coordinate selection and presentation of artwork and accessories as needed.
- Review and annotate furniture plans for FF&E accuracy.
- Assist in producing FF&E finish schedules under the guidance of the senior FF&E designer.
- Attend and evaluate site installations of FF&E items, as per project demands.
- Adhere to project criteria, office standards, and maintain project schedules consistently.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, PowerPoint, and Photoshop is essential.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must.
- Stay updated with industry trends, products, and advancements for professional growth.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in hospitality, specialising in designing 5-star hotels.
- Expertise in FF&E design (procurement experience not required).
- Right-to-work in the UK is mandatory.
