Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of urban design and masterplanning projects, focusing primarily on the conceptual phase.
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality design solutions.
- Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to junior designers and planners.
- Conduct site analysis, feasibility studies, and design reviews.
- Prepare and present design proposals, reports, and visualisations.
- Ensure projects comply with relevant regulations and standards.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A degree in Urban Design, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in urban design and masterplanning, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Lumion, InfraWorks, and Rhino.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of planning policies, regulations, and best practices.
- Ability to think creatively and strategically to solve complex design challenges.
- Highly desirable: Arabic speaking, client-facing experience, GIS proficiency, and hand sketching skills.
