They are looking for an enthusiastic Interior Designer to join their creative and collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Head of Interiors to develop and communicate the creative vision for projects.
- Conduct design research, including sourcing mood images and site information during concept development.
- Establish project materiality in partnership with the materials designer.
- Ensure adherence to stylistic design standards throughout all project stages.
- Deliver and manage drawing packages, specifications, and schedules, ensuring SSA standards are met.
- Understand the complexities of design and finishing details, with strong knowledge of joinery detailing.
- Maintain a highly organized and resourceful approach, with a keen eye for colour, materials, and details.
- Coordinate and deliver FF&E design schemes, leveraging strong supplier knowledge.
- Work across all RIBA work stages with an in-depth understanding of UK building regulations and codes.
- Manage on-site construction and procurement of FF&E, if applicable.
- Communicate effectively with the design team and suppliers; on-site experience during construction is a plus.
- Support and mentor the team in interior and joinery detailing.
- Strong free-hand sketching skills are desirable.
- A degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, or Interior Design.
- Understanding of on-site construction and procurement routes.
- Strong knowledge of the complexities of design and finishing details.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and confidently.
