Job Title: Senior FF&E Designer
Location: London, Clerkenwell
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum
Start date: Immediate

We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Senior FF&E Designer to lead a dynamic FF&E team and Furnishing Studio based in Clerkenwell London. This studio focuses on creating aspirational spaces for homes, work environments and social areas.
Our client excels in residential, commercial, and Build-to-Rent projects, combining cutting-edge design with exceptional craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, manage, and mentor the team of FF&E Designers, fostering a creative and collaborative environment.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations, presenting design concepts, and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Oversee the FF&E design process, including budgeting, scheduling, sourcing, and procurement.
  • Develop and present design concepts through sketches, mood boards, renders, and 3D visualisations.
  • Prepare and review detailed drawings, specifications, and material selections using AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Work with the design team to create bespoke joinery designs and coordinate with architects, contractors, and other professionals.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and manufacturers, ensuring all deliverables meet specifications, costs, and logistics.
  • Oversee the installation of FF&E projects, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Stay current with industry trends, materials, and innovations, bringing fresh ideas to the design process.
  
What We Are Looking For:
  • A confident, dynamic individual who can effectively engage with clients, project teams, suppliers, and contractors.
  • Proven experience managing and mentoring a team of designers.
  • Industry-recognised diploma or degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture.
  • Extensive experience in FF&E/Interior Design with a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial projects.
  • Passion for FF&E, design, art, and aesthetics with a solid knowledge of suppliers, products, and specialist finishes.
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience with FF&E scheduling – ideally Estimac.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple FF&E design projects simultaneously and demonstrate discretion with sensitive information.
