The Role:
Our client is seeking a Senior CAD Technician to join their talented technical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate drawings, models, and renders, while working closely with project managers and designers to ensure project success. The role will involve creating new models, resizing existing designs, solving manufacturing challenges, and producing technical drawings for retail environments and furniture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce high-quality drawings, models, and renders using CAD software.
- Work closely with project managers and designers to ensure the delivery of precise and effective design solutions.
- Create new models, adjust existing units, and develop technical solutions for manufacturing processes.
- Develop detailed technical drawings and renders for retail furniture and environments.
- Maintain a strong awareness of industry best practices, continually learning on the job.
- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks and the Adobe Suite is required.
- Knowledge of 3D Max is highly desirable.
- Highly organized with excellent communication skills and strong computer literacy.
- Enthusiastic about the design industry, able to work both independently and within a team.
- Central London location with a hybrid working model (split between office and flexible days).
- Office hours: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
