Are you a talented Project Architect with a passion for luxury and high-street retail projects? Our client, a prestigious architectural practice in Central London, is seeking a skilled professional to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-end commercial buildings and collaborate with internationally recognized brands.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define, plan, and manage the development of construction projects.
  • Coordinate engineering information from consultants into architectural and construction projects.
  • Develop and advise on innovative solutions.
  • Manage and coordinate the detailed design process, including specification and finishes selection.
  • Produce documentation for statutory approvals by landlords and local authorities.
  • Prepare tendering information.
  • Ensure compliance with requirements.
  • Undertake surveys, site visits, and inspections.
  • Collaborate with the ML Team during project closure, managing snagging lists and O&M reviews.
Qualifications:
  • Education: A degree in Architecture accredited by the ARB (Architects Registration Board) for Part 2 qualification in the UK.
  • Part 2 Accreditation: Successful completion of the Part 2 qualification process is mandatory.
Skills:
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Building Design Software (BIM) like Revit or ArchiCAD, and 2D drafting software like AutoCAD.
  • Design Skills: Strong understanding of design principles, creativity for concept development, and the ability to translate ideas into technical drawings.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Presentation Skills: Ability to present design proposals and technical drawings clearly and persuasively.
  • Soft Skills: Time management, problem-solving, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a strong work ethic.
Knowledge and Expertise:
  • Building Regulations: Good working knowledge of UK Building Regulations and their application to various projects.
  • Construction Methods & Materials: Understanding of different construction methods and materials used in architectural projects.
  • RIBA Stages: Familiarity with the RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) Work Stages for building projects.
Additional Desirable Skills:
  • Visualization Skills: Proficiency in 3D modelling and rendering software like SketchUp or Enscape.
  • Site Visit Experience: Experience on construction sites can be a plus.
  • Attitude: A proactive and enthusiastic attitude, with a willingness to contribute to wider practice groups and activities.
