About the Role
Overview: We are looking for candidates passionate about design and eager to collaborate on key mixed-use projects. This role is pivotal within the project team, focusing on Interior Design and Interior Architecture for medium and large-scale luxury retail projects. You'll play a crucial role across all project stages, from concept design to completion. As a key team member and leader, you'll balance design, technical ability, project management, and efficiency to deliver cohesive interior projects that are both aesthetically innovative and technically feasible.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of luxury design experience delivering mixed-use projects globally.
- Strong visual storytelling skills, adept at building rapport and adapting style to all levels.
- Confidence in leading CD, SD & DD package delivery, managing resources and workload.
- Exceptional knowledge of materials and finishes, and their appropriate applications.
- Proficiency in creating drawing tender packages.
- Ability to mentor and manage a small team, driving them towards deadlines.
- Capability to confidently assist the Associate in the design and production of interior or architectural projects within the office.
- Consideration of the fluid relationship between creativity and technical design.
- Competence in annotating construction drawing packs from contractors and third parties.
- Collaboration with other disciplines such as signage, installation, wayfinding, and branding.
- Good knowledge of Rhino and AutoCAD required (Visualisation expertise preferred). Knowledge of REVIT preferred.
- Experience in Tenant Guidelines.
- Experience designing, scheduling, sourcing, and delivering FF&E.
- Experience with CRM packages advantageous.
- Experience liaising with subcontractors and stakeholders.
- Ability to ideate through hand sketching from both creative and technical perspectives.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
