Position Overview:
As an FF&E Specialist & Product Designer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our client's existing furniture collection and crafting innovative designs for projects across the UK and internationally. This is a unique opportunity for a visionary designer to showcase their talent and contribute to the continued success of our client's thriving business.
Responsibilities:
- Designing products from concept to post-production, ensuring meticulous attention to detail.
- Producing and reviewing detailed FF&E schedules and drawing packages.
- Identifying cost-effective manufacturing solutions and value engineering techniques.
- Staying abreast of the latest trends in materials and finishes.
- Visiting workshops to review custom pieces and ensure quality control.
- Mentoring junior team members and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with international suppliers.
- Minimum 6-8 years of experience in product design and production.
- Degree in Architecture, Interiors, or Product Design preferred.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, Microsoft Office, Adobe suite (InDesign), and 3D programs.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for luxury design.
- Ability to generate new ideas and lead collaborative exercises.
